We are a team of young, passionate architects, urban designers, engineers & craftsmen working together in tandem at varying scales of projects. Twenty Eight Architects is a spirited design firm, capable of conceiving, designing & executing technically & environmentally sound & significant projects. We believe in the strength of a collaborative & interdisciplinary approach.

From small quaint interiors, to penthouses; Single Family Residences & Bungalows to Apartment Redevelopments; From Urban Place Making Efforts to Concept Master planning – we take pride in ‘our eye to details’ without missing the bigger picture.
In a short span of 5 years, we have managed to leverage our potential, with the help of efforts, along with strong understanding of Development Control Rules, Environmental Concerns, New Policy & Guidelines and above all a strong client connect.
With over 30 completed projects and several underway, Twenty Eight Architects wishes to set a new paradigm in Indian Design Practice which focuses on win-win designs, than strong ego showcases as otherwise popular in the discipline.
As strong advocate of Public-Private Partnership, we take our responsibilities towards philanthropy seriously and engage in several undisclosed social efforts, with our skills as our offerings to the greater cause.
Considering the growing requirement of collaborations, Team Twenty Eight is happy to have entered into Memorandums of Understanding with its International & Indian Alliance Partner to share and prosper in the fields including but not limited to Design Consultancies. Our strategic partnership with our Indian and overseas partners helps us deliver on our projects with a greater level of expertise.
HOW WE WORK
We strongly believe that Design is inherently a conversation between The Architect & His clients in the backdrop of its environment. It is a great skill that enables a designer to give forms of dreams and aspirations of people, keeping in mind the realities of this world.
Diminishing lines between various design disciplines has called for greater understanding, sensitivity and collaboration between disciplines. Our founders’ incubation in some of the world’s best design laboratories, Singapore has paved way for a strong foundation in the beginning of our journey to achieve desirable results of Co-operative Design Approach.
Team Twenty Eight aims to achieve a dynamic balance of the interconnected disciplines - from architecture, interiors to landscape design as well as master planning. Our interconnected layered approach helps nourish & bring scratch ideas to reality.
Our collaboration isn’t limited to design disciplines. Our in-house teams of craftsmen,architects, builders, technicians, draftsmen, renderers as well as design interns – are encouraged to get a hands on experience between different skills. While this does not directly help us, it helps boost the team spirit guarantying a strong bond between our team members.

21st Century is an age of technology, innovation and advancements in all possible fields. As the leading economists put it, we as a world have never been more peaceful; never been more prosperous as a civilization in the recent centuries. While the world wide web has brought the world together, the widening gap between the fortunate and the unfortunate, the privileged and the underprivileged is increasing rapidly. The age of information has made it possible for us to be aware of and hence plan for future challenges and mitigate of avert them totally!
With India taking the giant leap of faith, towards shared prosperity and peace, it is imperative that as architects, urban designers and a design community at large, we play our due responsibility towards fulfilling the goals of development, which will now ensure prosperity of the last man on the ladder.
Today, we live in a world that has increasingly become challenging with environmental, social, and natural disasters reoccurring at a greater pace. In times like these, the earlier boundaries between disciplines seem to fade, and calls for better collaboration between diverse fields become stronger. Resilience based Design has started replacing or adding value to mere sustainability in design.
Our Design and Build Team works in tandem with stakeholders of our projects at every scale to ensure that we are able to give justice to the tertiary clientele as well.
Inherent to this is our strong design based on research. This is further enabled by our study of cultures. We believe in the strong foundation of local cultures, which have a profound influence on our design approach. Joining our hands with technology only strengthens our pursuit of design which we believe should be as resilient as much it is sustainable.

An avid painter & sculptor, Abhishek believes in the key details that add up to a larger framework of a design. His philosophical approach & his enriched values help understand key facets of any design problem of varying scales. With a belief in the aspirations of individuals and he wishes to envisage how India’s town centers can become key drivers of our economy if duly warranted through Urban Design.
SALEEL SANJAY SAVARKAR

Saleel has a strong background in social & cultural circles in Pune. His keen sense of observation and sensitivity to social issues influences his designs to a great extent. With a strong aptitude for history & Indology, he believes in the potential of Indian Architecture as an alternative glossary to existing design norms. He brings to the table – his belief in Indian Culture & Values to enrich the working environment.

In 2019, Twenty Eight Architects signed a Memorandum of Understanding with UVEST PTE LTD, Singapore as their Strategic Alliance Partners for India for a duration for 2 years.
UVest PTE LTD Singapore is offers consultancy on several fronts including Design & Planning, Investment Planning, Project Development & Management etc. With several completed and undergoing projects in the field of Education, Healthcare, Hospitality as well as Agriculture & Technology – Uvest has a panel of experts in several fields. This Association aims to source, recommend and facilitate planning, design & development projects for further collaboration with UVest PTE LTD. It further elevates our capabilities to partner projects in India with greater expertise and better prospects.
